  TESTIMONIALS
"...This is an excellent program. I'm so glad that I stumbled on to this when researching for task management programs. Very low learning curv, quite flexible, and the price is right. Tried at least 20 other programs, either too complicated, too expensive, or poor documentation..."

Do’s and Don’ts:

  • Do’s:
    • Many department stores, baby specialty stores and online stores feature lists which work as the parents-to-be’s gift wish lists;
      The mother/father-to-be sign themselves up at stores that they like and compose a gift wish list of all the things they would love to get (fill a form);
    • Choose items with a wide range of prices to accommodate all budgets;
    • Traditionally, the baby shower etiquette means that this very nice event needs to be hosted and organized only by someone outside of the family, like friends and co-workers, but today this requirement is not strictly obeyed and it is ok when relatives organize it;
      It was considered improper that a family member hosts and organizes a baby shower for the mother-to-be because of a gift-giving character of event (so that it won’t look like the family is asking for gifts);
    • It is considered that the real baby shower is organized only for the first baby, while subsequent babies can be celebrated with a smaller events called “Baby Sprinkle”
      As they are about helping the parents-to-be to prepare for the first baby in their own family, because with a first baby, mom and dad need to obtain a plenty of basic baby supplies that they didn’t have beforehand, while the following babies can inherit all this stuff from their older brother/sister;
    • You may ask for help from a special consultant who could answer all your questions;
    • You may use some special on-line web-sites called “baby registry finders” to approach the search and find some ideas, suggestions or help;
    • For more information on organization of Baby Shower event, please check this Baby Shower Checklist;
  • Don’ts:
    • Don’t feel uncomfortable about opening a baby registry. They’re an established tradition and an opportunity that your guests can use or not. Registries just help the guests to avoid the stress of choosing an appropriate gift for you;
    • Don’t feel inconvenient about returning gifts that are duplicates;
    • Don’t keep your registry in secret, ...
