  • Mission: explain why this process was established (or why it was subjected to redesign):
    • What business goals it is planned to achieve;
    • How it will service certain corporate functions;
    • Explain importance and use of the process to the company;
  • Scope and boundaries: briefly explain what general tasks are encapsulated into the process;
  • Organization: explain how this process is incorporated into body of organization and how it co-operates with other correlated processes;
  • Strategy: explain the principles underlying the process’s ideas of functioning, and assumptions which the process vision of success and operational metrics are based upon;
  • Drivers: represent drivers (powers behind the scene) for process development and championship – for example growth of customer demands due to market sophistication or technology;
  • People: represent involvement of different participants into the process and impacts they cause – introduce the process team and their roles, external and internal influencers, clients, etc;
  • Technology: introduce technologies and innovative solutions that are used for transformation of the process inputs into specified outputs – outline features of these solutions;
  • Improvement: if you have to carry out an after-redesign presentation, then review what you had before and explain how the newly established methodology is better and more competitive than you had in the previous version of this process;
  • Instruments: represent tools deployed on the process to enable chosen technology – IT systems including software, hardware and networks, industrial machinery, individual tools, etc;
  • Profitability: review how the process costs are generated and accumulated to be allocated to the final process products and outcomes – justify this process as economically sound;
  • Centralization: introduce which decision-making authorities the process information is routed to and how their competences cover different process areas, including correlation of responsibility;
