  TESTIMONIALS
"...This is an excellent program. I'm so glad that I stumbled on to this when researching for task management programs. Very low learning curv, quite flexible, and the price is right. Tried at least 20 other programs, either too complicated, too expensive, or poor documentation..."

  1. Sustainability Principles.
    • To start executing a sustainable project, you need to comprehend three basic principle of project sustainability. These principles will help follow your plan.
    • Principle #1. Use Limited Resource. Your project can be accomplished only if resources are available and enough. As a project manager you should assess the required amount of resources and compare it to the existing resource base. This will help you manage the project in a sustainable manner.
    • Principle #2. Never Exceed Available Resource. Your effort to achieve effective management will be successful if the use of available resources never exceeds the amount of resources necessary for project completion. This principle means that you should plan resource consumption in advance and minimize resource waste.
    • Principle #3. Allocate Resource Strategically. This principle of sustainable projects means that you should recognize the importance of allocating project resources to only prioritized directions according to your strategy. Resource allocation activities should be planned for the long-term perspective and utilized considering stakeholders’ expectations.
  2. Planning Sustainability.
    • Conceptualize Project. The concept of your project will reflect the probability of successful project accomplishment. If the concept is unrealizable, then the project is likely to be unsuccessful. That’s why you should carefully manage the process of project conceptualization to develop a concept that is coherent to available project resources, meets stakeholders’ expectations, and fits into your strategies.
    • Organize Project Team. Your project team will be the major project resource. Selecting and employing a team of professionals aware of the principles will be the number one task for you. You should recruit and assemble such a team and then organize team members into the project resource that is used according to the best sustainable project ideas.
    • Incorporate Standards. Your project’s stakeholders need to incorporate their standards into the project to make the project concept fitting with their expectations. For this purpose, stakeholders can develop formal guidelines and instructions that show the expected project performance and then share these documents between project participants. Through incorporating standards your project becomes more sustainable because its concept is based on and meets stakeholders’ expectations.
    • Minimize Waste. To take this step of planning, you need to develop a plan for utilizing resources for only those activities necessary for accomplishing the project and its phases. You can establish guidelines that constitute the maximum amount of project resources to be used for each particular activity and phase scheduled in your project plan. Then you will minimize material waste and increase resource consumption efficiency.
    • Communicate Project. Well-established project communications allow your project team to implement strategic decisions, share issues, and collaborate on common goals and tasks. You need to develop a communications plan that states how information will be distributed between project participants and how the project team will share ideas. A better communications plan will help you solve issues of sustainability through communicating decisions and solutions in the shortest possible terms.
